About Spa Village Malacca
Spa Village Malacca is inside The Majestic Malacca hotel at 188 Jalan Bunga Raya and is run by YTL Hotels. It spreads over two levels and bases its treatments on the healing traditions of the Baba-Nyonya, or Peranakan, community, whose culture blends Chinese and Malay influences.
Every treatment starts with a hair care ritual inspired by the Peranakan wedding ceremony: detangling with a wooden comb, a warm oil scalp massage and a cleanse. Therapies follow the Peranakan idea of balancing warm and cool energies, drawing on traditional Chinese medicine, and the menu covers Peranakan signature experiences and a la carte massage, body scrubs such as a Malacca palm sugar and honey scrub, facials, hair treatments, manicures and pedicures. Sessions end with tea in the relaxation room.
The spa is open from 11am to 7pm, with the last treatment at 6pm. Bookings are taken by phone, WhatsApp or email.
